GENERAL

You must be aged 18 or over to purchase alcohol. It is an offence to sell alcohol to anyone under the age of 18 in the UK.

When ordering and making a payment you will be required to confirm that you are aged 18 or over.

If your order is a gift and contains alcohol, the recipient must also be aged 18 years or older. An adult over the age of 18 will be required to receive the delivery.

NATIONAL DELIVERY

We only deliver to mainland UK addresses (excluding the Scottish Highlands). The price is £7 for the majority of the UK and £9.50 for Scotland unless you qualify for shipping discount.

We use a next working day service, excluding weekends and public holidays. To qualify for next day shipping your order must arrive before 12pm on a Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday.

Parcels are tracked and the customer will receive an email from our courier APC about their delivery. The person who accepts delivery must be over 18 years old. Parcels cannot be delivered without a signature.

If your parcel is returned to us by APC because delivery could not be carried out for any reason the customer must pay the £10 shipping fee to receive their order. If the customer decides they no longer wish to continue with their order then they will receive a refund minus any shipping costs.

LOCAL DELIVERIES

RETURNS, REFUNDS AND CANCELLATIONS

Return the goods with the original packaging intact to the address below without undue delay and no later than 14 days from the day on which you communicate your cancellation from the contract to us. The deadline is met if you send back the goods before the period of 14 days has expired.

All returned parcels must be sent back using Recorded Delivery and adequately packed to avoid any possible damage in transit. We cannot accept responsibility for goods damaged during their return, or for postal or other costs incurred when returning goods.

Please note that return shipping will be paid by the customer except in cases where goods are faulty, in which case they will be reimbursed to the customer. Once the goods are received back and inspected, a refund will be processed for the goods, minus applicable shipping costs, unless the return concerns faulty or damaged goods.

Some of our products are fragile and, whilst every care will be taken to deliver the goods safely, inevitably some breakages may occur. In this event please contact us immediately and we will resolve any issues.

You have the right to cancel this contract within 14 days without giving any reason. The cancellation period will expire after 14 days from the day on which you acquire, or a third party other than the courier and indicated by you acquires, physical possession of the goods.

To exercise the right to cancel, you must inform us of your decision to cancel this contract by a clear statement. If you cancel this contract we will issue a full refund, including the cost of delivery, using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction. We may make a deduction from the refund for loss in value of any goods supplied, if the loss is the result of unnecessary handling by you. We will issue the refund without undue delay, and not later than:

  1. a) 14 days after the day we receive back from you any goods supplied, or
  2. b) (if earlier) 14 days after you provide evidence that you have returned the goods, or
  3. c) if there were no goods supplied, 14 days after the day on which we are informed about your decision to cancel this contract.

NOTES

We always aim to deliver your order promptly but cannot accept liability for delay.

It is the responsibility of the customer to report goods damaged in transit.

We shall not be liable to pay any compensation to you, other than any refund.

No compensation can be offered for loss of wages due to failed or late deliveries.

Customers accept responsibility for the safe storage and use of the products upon receipt.

The Craft Booze Company is not liable for damage caused by customer mishandling.
